About the Event

A special screening of this powerful documentary on women’s health and healthcare, told through the lens of endometriosis.

The film follows the personal, inspiring stories of four patients urgently searching for answers to mysterious symptoms, exposing the healthcare challenges women face along the way.

An estimated 1 in 9 women* suffer from endometriosis, a chronic, painful disease. Despite its prevalence and the toll it takes on millions of lives, the condition is often unrecognized, misdiagnosed and inadequately treated. A must-see for patients, their loved ones, and the medical community, this documentary from Shannon Cohn, director of “Endo What?”, is expected to change lives and women’s healthcare.

Following the film, our panel of Baylor endometriosis specialists will discuss their multifaceted approach to early diagnosis and effective treatment. Together, our physicians, surgeons, educators and researchers are restoring women’s quality of life, simplifying their healthcare, and advancing the world’s understanding and treatment of this complex condition.

FILM SCREENING: 1-2 p.m.

PANEL DISCUSSION: 2-3 p.m.

This is an in-person only event.
